Market Development Manager

This is an exciting time at Xampla as we commercialise and rapidly scale up our business and launch our first products alongside our licence partners. We are seeking to recruit a Market Development Manager to join our energetic and highly engaged team. The Market Development Manager’s primary responsiblity is to create demand for Xampla’s technology with our customer’s customers such as FMCG, QSRs and convenience brands.

Roles & responsibilities

The primary roles and responsibilities for this role include:

• – Driving demand for our Morro materials with brands through a variety of channels
• – Developing a clear understanding of the end user’s buyhing decisions to inform strategy and market intelligence on how to market Morro materials
• – Identify key areas for accelerated growth via new value streams including NPD and opportunities
• – Work with Business Development and Marketing teams to create, input into and deliver strategic account plans for target end users.
• – Work with Marketing to ideate a programme of marketing activity to generate demand
• – Work with R&D to develop product roadmaps and technical development to deliver goals
• – Identify target end users with strategy and generate customer pipeline
• – Support shaping customer RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and customer-facing documents
• – Create and deliver compelling presentations
• – Support the wider business where needed

Your experience & skills

We’re looking for a candidate who has:

• – Excellent understanding of FMCG, QFS, and Convenience end users and their packaging supply chains.
• – Experience partnering directly with customers, gained in technical roles or business/market development.
• – Understanding of how to generate and use customer insights to feed strategic plans.
• – Experience building and delivering compelling and persuasive presentations that drive customer demand.
• – Understanding of creating and executing strategic account plans, and the role that marketing plays in driving awareness and demand.
• – Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in a clear way (scientific background would be advantageous).
